Medical Cannabis Clinic Now Open in Scarborough
CannaWay Clinic specializes in treatment plans for chronic pain and symptom management needs, now available to the Scarborough community
Scarborough, ON – CannaWay Clinic, located on Neilson Road & Finch Street East, is helping patients who are suffering from chronic pain or illness with therapeutic cannabis treatment plans. The flagship clinic launched in April of 2018 in Oakville Ontario, and CannaWay Clinic has since opened five standalone clinics and five affiliate clinic locations across Ontario and Manitoba.
The new clinic is physician-lead by Dr. Teosar Bhesania, Cardiologist, and Dr. Stephen Glazer. Glazer is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Obesity Medicine as well as a specialist in sleep disorders.
“A lot of our patients are new to cannabis and are very intimidated to try medical cannabis for the first time,” says Dr. Glazer, Chief Medical Officer, CannaWay Clinic. “One of our main goals is to erase this fear; we have dedicated cannabis counsellors who can guide patients through the process and mitigate any concerns they may have. We also work closely with patient’s physicians to create a comprehensive cannabis treatment plan; our focus is improving quality of life for those suffering from chronic pain or illness, and we’re thrilled to expand these services to Scarborough.”
