CannaWay Clinic introduces the CannaWay Clinic Affiliate Program to clinics wishing to offer patients comprehensive medical cannabis treatment plans.

Winnipeg, MB: CannaWay Clinics Inc. (“CannaWay Clinic”) is expanding its medical cannabis services to four medical clinics across Winnipeg and in Steinbach through new partnership arrangements. This is in addition to the one standalone location already operating in Winnipeg, located at Kenaston Blvd. & Grant Ave.

CannaWay Clinic is invested in providing the community with access to safe, reliable cannabis education and products. The affiliate clinics are located in existing physicians’ offices across the city:

Dakota Medical Centre – 845 Dakota St., Unit #7

Bison Family Medical Clinic -1686 Pembina Hwy

Clearspring Medical Clinic – 390 Main St (Steinbach)

Lakewood Medical Centre – 30 Lakewood Blvd.

“The CannaWay Clinic Affiliate Program was developed so that patients could access the quality care that we provide at our standalone CannaWay Clinic locations at the same doctor’s office they are used to visiting. Additionally, physicians at surrounding clinics have the ability to refer their patients directly to the affiliate clinics for convenient access to these services,” says Dr. Teosar Bhesania, President, CannaWay Clinic. “By working with more physicians and expanding our own footprint, we are building a foundation of support for medical cannabis within the mainstream medical community in Winnipeg and beyond.”

Through the CannaWay Clinic Affiliate Program, patients will now have access to:

  • physicians with the knowledge and tools to provide comprehensive assessments for medical cannabis treatment plans;
  • cannabis counsellors who aid with treatment plan implementation and support; and
  • medical cannabis products such as oils, capsules and sprays from a variety of licensed cannabis producers (for patients who obtain a medial cannabis prescription)

Since recreational legalization, there has been an influx of patients requesting information about medical cannabis. The CannaWay Clinic Affiliate Program empowers physicians to assess the appropriateness of medical cannabis with confidence for patients seeking relief from various symptoms or ailments.
